September 2010,
Monika Biliniewicz was found with stab
wounds to her chest and head, at her home in Downs road,
Luton, she was taken to the Luton & Dunstable hospital,
where she died of her injuries.
A short while
later police were called to a man standing on the edge
of a bridge overlooking the M1 motorway, it was the
victims husband, 32 year old Jan Michal Biliniewicz.
24th
September 2010, Jan Michal Biliniewicz charged with
the murder of his wife, at the family home in
Luton.
27th
September 2010, Biliniewicz was remanded in custody.
31st January
2012, Jan Michal Biliniewicz appeared at Luton
crown court. He was due to start his trial on Monday 6th
February 2012, but he changed his plea to guilty, and was
sentenced.
Judge Bevan
sentenced him to life with a recommendation he serve a
minimum 19 years in prison.
