Taylor and Ms. Beagley were
on a "First date", they had driven in her car to a local
beauty spot in Richmond, overlooking the Thames. He
produced a knife telling her he was to steal her car, an
argument erupted, and he attacked her with the knife,
stabbing her in the throat and a further 30 times. He then
stripped her, washed the body in mineral water, and then
put her in the boot of her own car, a VW Golf.
Miss Beagley's naked body was found four days later dumped
in Oxhey Wood.
Taylor had thrown her
clothes and belongings out of the car window along the M1
motorway.
He was later to show off
his new car to friends.
Taylor told the court that Kate committed suicide using a
knife he dropped.
5 March 2008 Taylor
was jailed for life with a minimum of 30 years at the Old
Bailey for killing Kate Beagley.
