Sunday 7th June 2009, Claire Wison, who was six
months pregnant, was walking to work at a pizza
restaurant, when she was attacked by Alan
McMullan.
Thursday 3rd September
2009, McMullan pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the
grounds of diminished responsibility, but the crown
rejected the claim. He will stand trial for murder at a
later date.
