April 1986, Johnson made Hotel worker Gerald Homer strip naked, he then stole £8 off him, and then set about the man, stabbing him 35 times with a pair of scissors and a knife, in an hour long attack, as Mr Homer lay dying, Johnson stabbed him in the throat with the scissors.
October 1986, Johnson was sentenced to life imprisonment at Stafford Crown Court, Mr Justice Tucker recommending a minimum term of 17-years.
2006, Johnson let out of prison on life licence.
6th February 2011. 89-year-old widow Florence Habesch was making a cup of tea when Johnson entered the house. He was known to her as he had previously worked for her doing odd jobs around the house. He battered her to death with a projector case for £25, to fund his drug habit, the injuries inflicted on the frail old lady were so severe, her skull was caved in.
After buying drugs Johnson confessed to his brother who then called the police.
3rd May 2011, Johnson admits to murder at Mould Crown Court.
