Thursday 3rd July 2008, Shakilus Townsend from Deptford, south-east London, was beaten with a baseball bat and repeatedly stabbed in Thornton Heath, Lomdon/. He had been lured there in a "honey trap" by 16 year old Samantha Joseph.

 

Monday 7tth July 2008, police have arrested five people over the murder, The two male teenagers arrested are aged 16 and 17, the men are aged 18 and 22, and the girl is 16 years old.

June 2009 Samantha Joseph admitted persuading Shakilus to go to the flats but said she only thought he would be beaten up.

The girl's boyfriend Danny McLean, 18, was among six other teenagers also convicted of murder at the Old Bailey.

Brothers Tyrell Ellis, 19, and Don-Carlos Ellis, 18, from Thornton Heath, were convicted of murder, together with Andrew Johnson-Haynes, 18, from Croydon, south London.

Andre Thompson and Michael Akinfenwa, both aged 17 and both of Norwood, south London, were also convicted.
