1994,
the body
of Miss Amy Shepherd was found in her home in Folly Hill
Gardens, Wibsey, Bradford.
She had been strangled,
probably with a tea towel, and stabbed in the neck with a
kitchen knife as she lay dead or dying,
14th August
1994 Mary Kilbride aged 80, was murdered in her home.
A hand towel was found around Mrs Kilbride's neck and she
had been stabbed through one eye with the handle of a
dressing table mirror as she was dead or dying.
1995
Whelan was found guilty of murdering Mary Kilbride.
2000,
Whelan found not guilty of the murder of Amy Shepard.
