16 September 2007, Mr. Nassan was allegedly
watching a group of girls. Bright did not like this and
stabbed him in the neck.
Earlier the same evening,
Mr Hassan and his friends had made lecherous and
inappropriate comments towards Bright and her friends in
a takeaway next door to a pub.
CCTV captured her gesticulating over his body, saying,
"Let him die".
3rd December 2008,
Bright was found guilty of murder, At Bristol Crown
Court, Justice Roderick Evans said he hoped her minimum
12 year term would deter other teenagers from carrying
knives.
Bright, had admitted
manslaughter but denied murder.
