UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Sunday 7th
December 2003, at about 1:30pm, 13 year old Daniel
Morecombe was waiting at a bus stop under the Kiel
Mountain Road overpass in the Woombye area of the
Sunshine Coast. He was hoping to get the 1:35pm bus to
Sunshine Plaza Shopping Centre. The bus was delayed, but
witnesses confirmed seeing Daniel at 2:10pm still
waiting at the unofficial bus stop. When a replacement
bus went by, seeing the boy at the stop, the drive
radioed through to get another bus to get him, he also
noticed a man standing a few hundred yards from the boy.
By the time
the bus arrived both the man and Daniel and vanished.
August 2011,
Brett Peter Cowan is arrested and charged for the
deduction and murder of 13 year old Daniel Morecombe.
21st August
2011, Shoes and human remains found at Glass House
Mountains, forensic tests showed human bones were those
of Daniel Morecombe.
